So..... I kinda know what I’m doing. In 2010, after someone graciously gave me a university degree in journalism and communication studies, I began a 15-year career in the Government of Canada. I’ve worked across three federal departments in a plethora of areas, including internal and external communications, marketing and social media, media relations, strategic communications, print and digital publications, and magazine writing. But, at heart, I’m a creative writer and editor specializing in plain language.

Over the years, I’ve helped countless people translate their thoughts to paper, polish their writing, promote their business ventures, and provide advice and direction on their communications activities.

Through a series of divinely-orchestrated interactions that started with a dragonfly, I saw that many Christian business owners, especially writers and aspiring authors, were looking for a more meaningful, honest, and pure connection with their business partners.

Realizing I could fill that gap, I started KingdomCOMM in 2023 with a simple goal: to help Christian writers and business owners communicate with clarity, purpose, and power—while staying true to their faith.

My approach is grounded in honesty, humility, and a whole lot of coffee. You won’t get fluff here—just down-to-earth help from someone who’s cheering for you and your Kingdom impact. You know that friend who tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear? That's me.

You know that company you worked with that said it “put the customer first,” only for you to find out it was a lie? You won’t get that here. I pray over every project and every client. I believe that when we seek God first and commit our work to Him, He takes care of the rest.

When we meet, you'll bring me up to speed on the scope of your project, your goals, timeline, and budget. Then, we figure out how I can help you, what it'll cost you, and if working together makes sense. Then, we take some time to think it over.

If we decide to move forward, I'll send you a high-level project outline with deliverables, timelines, and a payment schedule. If you haven't jumped out the virtual window at this point, we'll sign a contract that protects both our interests. And then we start cookin'! Entirely depending on the project, at this point, we'll likely meet one or more times to fine-tune the deliverables and timelines or to brain-dump your story.

Then, I get to creating your vision! I take everything we’ve discussed—your message, your goals, your vibe—and start bringing it to life, praying through the project and trusting God to guide my creative process. Depending on the project, we'll have regular check-ins to make sure we’re on the same page and that you’re loving how it’s shaping up. In the end, you'll get a polished product that you'll be proud to share!
